Brooke Benson – mortgage

New radio show/podcast

I am happy to announce a divorce-related project I’ve been working on for a long time is here.

I saw a wedding planning guide in the Rio Grande Valley.  Flipping through it, I thought to myself, “People should have a divorce planning guide for when the love’s as dead as the flowers.”  The concept of Plan for Divorce was born.

Making the call to divorce is a deeply personal and emotional one.  I don’t get involved in that – and I am not a “divorce advocate.”  I believe in marriage and want it to work for everyone who ties the knot.  Unfortunately, we know in the United States roughly half of marriages end in divorce.  That percentage is even higher for second and third marriages.  While the process of divorcing is painful and unpleasant, sometimes it’s the proper course of action.  In my opinion, you should have a plan for the breakup whether you share children or not.

I wrote a workbook anyone can use for developing a plan.  The subject matter is divided into five areas based on stories I hear from my mortgage clients.  I have added a few of my own experiences with the subject matter.  Early in 2023, I was offered the chance to host a radio show by the same name.  VoiceAmerica produces lots of the major talk shows and feeds them to radio stations and streaming platforms.

My show launched in June 2023 and I hope you will consider downloading episodes that offer information relevant to your situation.  Click here for the link to my show page.  Couples of the same sex or the opposite sex – legally married or not – will benefit from the education my expert guests provide.
